Letter from the Superintendent: Updated K-12 Hybrid/Remote Model

Dear Parents/Guardians: I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health during this challenging time. This letter is to inform you of recent changes to the District’s reopening plan. On October 5th, we will transition to the hybrid model for students in grades K - 6. Students in grades 7 - 12 will remain on remote instruction until further notice. In order to ensure that our students have the most meaningful instructional experience possible, changes have been made to the K-6 hybrid model originally included in the District’s reopening plan.

UPDATE - Elementary school parents: if your child's dismissal procedure will change as a result of the updated plan, please re-submit the Arrival and Dismissal Form. | The Elementary School is enacting several new arrival and dismissal protocols to help keep our students safe and prevent the spread of COVID-19. In addition to these protocols, if your child will be returning for the Hybrid (in-person) learning, Cohort A or Cohort B, the following form MUST be completed for EVERY child by September 25, 2020: https://forms.gle/uaYdM1nPXUxYMh7Z7

2020 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Postponed
POSTPONED: Ellenville 2020 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction

The Ellenville Central School District has announced that due to the continuing Covid 19 pandemic, the 2020 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction that was scheduled for Saturday, October 17th, has been postponed. A new date has not been set. Five former Blue Devils were scheduled to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, including wrestling brothers Anibal and Alberto Nieves, track and field standout Danielle Borriello, coach Lance Lewin, and softball player Aimee Capello Nuwer.
