Nominations are currently being accepted for the Ellenville Central School District’s Athletic Hall of Fame, which recognizes athletes, coaches, and other individuals for their outstanding athletic accomplishments or contributions to the athletic program at Ellenville Junior/Senior High School.
Nominations will be accepted through April 28, 2023, and will be reviewed and voted on by members of the Hall of Fame committee.
Anyone can nominate candidates for the Athletic Hall of Fame. Eligible candidates must have made significant and extraordinary contributions to Ellenville athletics while exemplifying good character, sportsmanship, and leadership. Athletes or teams can become eligible for nomination a minimum of six years after graduating from Ellenville Junior/Senior High School or completing their athletic accomplishments. The Hall of Fame is also open to retired Ellenville Central School District coaches or administrators, as well as honorary recipients, who have made a significant impact on the school and/or at the sectional, state, national, professional, or international level.
Nomination forms can be picked up at the Ellenville Athletic Office, located at 28 Maple Avenue. They are also available to download under the Athletics tab on the District’s website, www.ecs.k12.ny.us. Completed forms and specified supporting materials should be returned no later than April 28, 2023. Inductees will be announced later this spring and will be honored during a ceremony this fall.
