Read the full letter and attached document regarding the Hybrid Instructional Model

Dear EES Parents/Guardians,

I am so excited to welcome our HYBRID learners back on campus this Monday, October 5, 2020. I appreciate our Ellenville Elementary community for your patience and grace as we navigated school-wide remote learning over the last few weeks. The EES faculty and staff ask for your continued support as we work together to make the HYBRID learning phase a success!

In-person students will attend school from 9am-12pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. All students will be remote-only on Wednesdays. In-person instruction will begin Monday, October 5 for Cohort A students. Students in Cohort B will begin in-person instruction on Tuesday, October 13.

For your convenience, I have compiled some “Frequently Asked Questions” in the attached document, which contains important health and safety reminders, as well as updated procedures and protocols that we require all families to follow. In our endeavor to provide and maintain a safe school experience for your child, as well as meet his/her needs, we need to work together!

Thank you in advance for your patience, flexibility, and support as we work together to provide the best and safest education possible for our students. I choose to remain optimistic. With a supportive community, a dedicated staff and the best students ever, I believe we are well positioned to give our return next week our best effort. I also believe that we will continue to learn from our experiences and emerge stronger than ever before.

Updates and important information will continue to be communicated via the District's webpage, Facebook page and mailings. Remember, we are all in this together ~ Ellenville Pride is School Wide!
