Dear Parents/Guardians & Staff,
Please be advised that on November 13, 2020, the District was notified by a high school staff member that they have tested positive for COVID-19. We note that due to privacy laws, the District is unable to identify the individual who tested positive.
The District is working with the Ulster County Department of Health to identify individuals who may have been exposed at the school (contact tracing). As a result of the contact tracing, any individual identified who is considered to be in close contact with the individual who tested positive (in accordance with the Ulster County Department of Health guidance) will be contacted by the Ulster County Department of Health and provided further direction.
The District will continue working collaboratively with the Ulster County Department of Health to ensure the safety of our school community. Further, the District will continue to follow all of our cleaning protocols.

El 13 de noviembre de 2020, un personal de la escuela secundaria notificó al Distrito que dio positivo por COVID-19. Notamos que debido a las leyes de privacidad, el Distrito no puede identificar a la persona.
El Distrito está trabajando con el Departamento de Salud del Condado de Ulster para identificar a las personas que pueden haber estado expuestas en la escuela (localización de contactos). Como resultado del rastreo de contactos, cualquier individuo identificado que se considere que está en contacto cercano con el individuo que dio positivo (de acuerdo con la guía del Departamento de Salud del Condado de Ulster) será contactado por el Departamento de Salud del Condado de Ulster y se le proporcionará más información.
