Online Registration for Athletics with FamilyID

Dear Ellenville Student–Athletes and Families!

As you are aware, the 2020-2021 school year has been extremely challenging. As part of our continued preparations for offering interscholastic sports, the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Athletics is excited to announce that starting with this school year, we will be offering the convenience of online registration for those interested in participating in our interscholastic athletic program through FamilyID. FamilyID is a secure registration platform that provides student-athletes and their families an easy, user-friendly way to register for our programs, and enables us to be more administratively efficient and environmentally responsible. When you register through FamilyID, the system keeps track of your information in your FamilyID profile. You will enter your information only one time for each family member for multiple uses and multiple programs. Please find below the steps you will need to follow to register for the planned Fall 2 athletic season. This season is scheduled from March 1st through April 17th.

FAMILYID PORTAL TO REGISTER FOR VARSITY/JV/MODIFIED FALL 2 SPORTS WILL OPEN ON THE FOLLOWING DATES:

Varsity and Junior Varsity – February 1, 2021
Modified – February 1, 2021

INFORMATION NEEDED TO REGISTER:

It will be helpful to have the following information handy to allow for accurate completion of your online registration.

  • Primary Care Physician/Doctor Information

  • Health Insurance Information

  • Date of Most Recent Physical (Please note NYS has waived the 12 month time frame required for sports physicals. For the 2020-2021 academic year only, a student-athlete that had a physical in the 2018-2019 or 2019-2020 school year is acceptable)

REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR ALL FAMILIES:

A parent/guardian can register by clicking on this link starting Monday, February 1st:

Follow these steps:

  1. To find your program, click on the link provided by the organization above and select the registration from under the work Programs.
  2. Next click on the blue Register Now button and scroll to the Create Account/Log In green buttons. Since this is your first time using FamilyID, click create account.
  3. Create your secure FamilyID account by entering the account owner First and Last names (parent/guardian), E-mail address and password. Select I Agree to the FamilyID Terms of Service. Click Create Account.
  4. You will receive an email with a link to activate your new account. (If you don’t see the email, check your E-mail filters (spam, junk, etc.).
  5. Click on the link in your activation email, which will log your into FamilyID.com
  6. Once in the registration form, complete the information requested. All fields with a red* are required to have an answer.
  7. Click the Continue button when your form is complete.
  8. Review the registration summary.

NO PAYMENT REQUIRED

  1. Click the green Submit button. After selecting ‘Submit’ the registration will be complete. You will receive an email from FamilyID confirming your registration.
