Dear Parents/Guardians & Staff,
Please be advised that we were notified that three Ellenville Elementary School students have tested positive for COVID-19. We note that due to privacy laws, the District is unable to identify the individuals who tested positive.
The students were last in attendance on April 6, 2021. The District is working with the Ulster County Department of Health (UCDOH) to identify all individuals who may have had close contact with the positive cases. We are following all of the contact
tracing and quarantine guidelines as defined by the UCDOH. As a result of the contact tracing, any individual identified who is considered to have been in close contact with the individuals who tested positive will be contacted by the UCDOH and
provided further direction.
The District will continue working collaboratively with the UCDOH to ensure the safety of our school community. Further, the District will continue to follow all of our cleaning protocols.
