
Dear Parents & Guardians,
This past November, the District invited all parents/guardians to participate in a school climate survey developed in partnership with Panorama Education. This survey was one of the required school improvement activities mandated by the New York State Education Department due to our identification as a target district. The results of this survey are available on our District website and were used to determine priorities for our 2020 - 21 improvement plans.
As communicated this past fall, we will be administering this survey again to measure growth and determine ongoing priorities for future school improvement plans. We are maintaining our partnership with Panorama Education as we move forward. The survey will be available to teachers, staff, students (Grades 3 - 12), and parents/guardians to complete via email. The parent/guardian survey will be sent to the primary contact’s email address provided to the District. The survey window will be open from June 11, 2021 - June 25, 2021. The results will be shared on our District website.
This past fall 17% of our parents/guardians participated in the survey and we are hoping for a much greater turnout this time. There is a strong relationship between school climate and student outcomes, which makes your feedback extremely important to us. If you need to update your email address on file with the school, please contact the main office of your child’s building. If you do not have access to the Internet to complete the survey, please contact the District office at (845) 647 - 0100 to make alternate arrangements to participate.
