Dear Parents, Guardians, & School Community,
On Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at approximately 4:30 PM, we were advised by law enforcement that there was an individual with a knife near school property. A lockout was initiated immediately.
The Ellenville Police Department responded and quickly located the individual, who has been detained. Ellenville Police have assured us that there is no threat and that they will provide additional information when the investigation is complete.
As a result of this incident, after-school buses were delayed about 35 minutes.
The safety and health of our students and staff are our first priority.
