The Ellenville Central School District Board of Education is proposing a $68,607,772 budget for the 2025-2026 school year, a spending plan that maintains all current academic programs while meeting the New York State tax cap requirement for simple-majority voter approval.

This year's school budget vote and Board of Education election will take place on Tuesday, May 20, from 8 AM to 8 PM at the Ellenville Junior/Senior High School Media Center, which is located at 28 Maple Avenue. Signs and staff will be on site to provide directions, and ample parking—including handicapped-accessible spaces—will be available for residents coming out to vote.
Absentee ballot applications are available in the District Office and must be mailed at least seven days prior to the vote. All completed absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5 PM on the day of the vote.
