Engines were revved and many sirens and honks were heard last week at one of our favorite Elementary School traditions—Driving Ellenville! Community service vehicles and the people who drive them—from police cars to school buses to fire trucks—were on hand to introduce students to the vehicles and equipment that help them do their jobs and make our community a better, safer place.
Students filled out Driving Ellenville "passports" after visiting with different workers and learning how these vital community members serve our neighborhoods. We thank all these dedicated helpers for volunteering their time and shifting us into high gear for learning!
