Aaaargh, Matey!
Last week, Ellenville Elementary School welcomed a very special visitor—Pirate Dave! Taking a break from his busy treasure-hunting schedule, Pirate Dave dropped anchor to lead our students on a journey to discover the traits of good character.
Through a series of clever clues and teamwork, students uncovered the true treasure: the pillars of making good choices—perseverance, respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, kindness, and good citizenship.
He even brought along his trusty parrot sidekick to help spread the message! These are lessons our young learners will carry from “pirate school” back to class.
Yo-ho-ho and a whole lot of character growth!
