On Friday, January 9, Ellenville Elementary School Pre-K families gathered for their annual Winter Celebration to welcome the new year and kick off another semester of learning!
Pre-K students welcomed visitors with a winter song before the main event: crafting! Students, families, and staff worked together on snowflake ornaments, cotton-bellied penguins, and marshmallow-topped snowmen. A few mini-marshmallows may have gone missing in the process…
Grade 6 student volunteers joined in to help our youngest learners with their creations, bringing some big kid energy to the crafting tables.
Hot cocoa and cookies kept everyone fueled throughout the afternoon. Thank you to all the families, staff, and Grade 6 helpers who made this celebration so special!
