Families gathered to celebrate the District's “graduating” Kindergarten students during a special ceremony on June 16.

During the event, Ellenville Elementary School Principal Nicole Ey declared, "As we say goodbye to Kindergarten, we are also saying hello to new adventures. These students are future scientists, artists, teachers, engineers, doctors, business owners, athletes, and community leaders. The possibilities ahead of them are endless!"

The District's Kindergarteners then wowed the crowd with "Kinder Bye Bye Bye," a riff on the NSYNC classic, followed by crowd-pleasers "You've Got a Friend in Me" and "We're All in This Together." Students then crossed the stage to shake Ey's hand and receive their certificates. She closed with this message to the Kindergarten class: "Continue to dream big, be kind, and believe in yourselves."

The Ellenville Central School District congratulates its Kindergarten students and families and looks forward to all they will achieve in the years ahead!
