On June 22, Ellenville Grade 6 students celebrated their Moving-Up Ceremony in the Junior/Senior High School auditorium. Students and staff wore matching orange 6-7 shirts as the celebration kicked off with a student-led Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem performed by Denise Younger, and an opening performance by the Grade 6 Band.
Students were recognized with special area awards and honors in leadership, citizenship, and academic excellence, including the President's Award for Educational Achievement. Each Grade 6 teacher then presented their students with certificates before the Grade 6 Chorus closed out the celebration.
The Class of 2032 is headed to the Junior/Senior High School—and the District looks forward to all they will achieve!
