Girls in Grades 3-8 had the opportunity to get active, try something new, and discover all that Ellenville Athletics has to offer during the District’s 3rd Annual Girls in Sports Day on September 19.
The free event gave participants the chance to try a variety of sports in a fun and supportive environment while learning new skills and getting to know Ellenville coaches and student-athletes.
Throughout the afternoon, the young athletes were encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, explore new interests, and build confidence while experiencing the camaraderie and excitement that come with participating in school athletics.
Girls in Sports Day is designed to introduce younger students to the athletic opportunities available to them as they progress through the Ellenville Central School District and encourage them to stay active and involved.
Thank you to the coaches, student-athletes, and everyone else who helped make this year’s event possible, and to all of our future Blue Devils who came out ready to learn, play, and have fun!
