We are bursting with pride to announce that our Grade 7-8 Band made history at the High Note Music Festival in Allentown, Pennsylvania!
For the first time in Ellenville Central School District history, both of our Junior High groups—Concert Band and Jazz Band—earned "Superior" ratings, the highest possible distinction!
One judge was so impressed, they said: "There is a professionalism about the group, there's an air of very high quality about the group; that doesn't happen by accident."
Their dedicated director Christina Schoonmaker expressed her pride that our talented musicians have reached new heights through their dedication, teamwork, and genuine love for music.
After their outstanding performances, our students celebrated their success with a well-deserved afternoon of fun at Dorney Park.
