For the month of February (2/2-2/27), Ellenville students in Grades 7 and 8 are embarking on a Reading Rumble challenge. There are TWO ways to compete:
Challenge #1: Class Competition - Class period vs. class period. Read during class time, and teachers will submit weekly totals. The class with the most pages each week wins prizes, and the champion class at the end of the month wins a pizza party!
Challenge #2: Individual Competition - Show us your reading power! Track your independent reading at home and submit your weekly page counts. The top reader takes home gift cards!

What counts? Novels, nonfiction, graphic novels, magazine articles, audiobooks, and picture books.
