On February 12, the Ellenville Mentorship Program held its annual scavenger hunt through the Jr/Sr High School, where Grade 12 mentors accompanied their Grade 6 mentees on a speed-walked introduction to their future building. Along the way, students met staff and uncovered fun facts — from how many elephants are hiding in the library to the location of the STEAM classroom and who works in the Main Office. Lucky teams may have even walked away with a joke from Principal Carl Pabón!
This year's program has reached its biggest enrollment to date, with 41 senior mentors and 65 Grade 6 mentees. The group will continue to meet throughout the school year for bonding and fun learning activities.
