Ellenville Jr/Sr High School will welcome incoming Grade 9 students and their families for Grade 9 Family Orientation on Thursday, August 27, from 8-10:30 AM.
The program is designed to help students make a smooth transition from junior to senior high school and prepare for a successful start to ninth grade. Students will learn about school expectations, available courses and academic pathways, after-school opportunities, athletics, and more. They will also have an opportunity to ask questions and address any concerns before the school year begins.
During the orientation, students will receive their schedules, meet administrators and guidance staff, tour the building, participate in station activities, and receive their Yondr pouches and student IDs.
Orientation Schedule:
8-9 AM: Welcome, introductions, student schedules, and student information session
9-10 AM: Station activities
10-10:30 AM: Yondr pouches and student IDs
Incoming Grade 9 families are encouraged to register in advance. You may register online or call Dawn Pike at (845) 647-0128 to register by phone.
