On August 20, August graduates of the Ellenville Central School District celebrated their commencement in the Junior/Senior High School library, surrounded by proud family members, friends, teachers, and administrators.
The speakers at the event emphasized the determination, perseverance, and grit that got these students to the finish line. Junior/Senior High School Principal Kerri Galloway reminded the graduates, “Wherever your journey takes you next, remember where you started, the people who believed in you, and the strength you discovered along the way. We are proud of you, Class of 2026!”
Now, these graduates are ready for new beginnings. The determination and resilience that carried them to this moment will serve them well—not only when life doesn’t go as planned, but also as they embrace the many opportunities ahead.
While not all graduates were in attendance at the ceremony, we would like to recognize each of them for their hard work and achievements. The August graduates were Caitlynn Brousseau, Abigail Elkins, Justin Horl, Makya Irizarry, and Peter Sanchez.
