Our P-TECH students have been rallying their resources to address one of the planet's most pressing challenges: water scarcity. Through cross-disciplinary collaboration, Science teacher Jennifer Gilles guided students in researching and developing prototypes of sustainable water systems, while English teacher Noelia Santiago helped them craft persuasive essays on ensuring equitable access to potable water.
Next, students will present their solutions, showcasing their prototypes and sharing their persuasive essays with the school community in June! We're proud of our students for stepping up to tackle and advocate for solutions that create a more sustainable and equitable future.
