Be sure to mark your calendars! The first day of school for all students will be on Thursday, September 5. We are excited to welcome our Blue Devils back for another amazing year!

We are pleased to share that thanks to the Community Eligibility Provision, all of our students will continue to receive free meals, regardless of family income, during the 2024-2025 school year. This means that all students who are enrolled in the Ellenville Central School District are eligible to receive one healthy breakfast and one healthy lunch at no charge each day that school is in session. No further action is required!

The ECSD is pleased to announce that it will once again be purchasing school supplies for students in PreK through Grade 12 for the 2024-2025 school year. All students will be provided with essential classroom supplies including notebooks, pencils, folders, and more. As of now, students will only need to supply backpacks for the upcoming school year.

Reminder: The Ellenville Central School District will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

Don't miss your chance to see the Ellenville Central School District Art Show, "In Our Own Voices," on display at the Hunt Memorial Building, which is located at the corner of Liberty Square and Canal Street. Today (June 7) is the final day the show will be open to the public, so be sure to stop in between 3 and 7 PM to see the wide array of work created by our talented student artists in Grades K-12!

IMPORTANT REMINDER: The Algebra I Regents exam will be administered to Ellenville students who are currently enrolled in Algebra I or retaking the Algebra Regents on Tuesday, June 4, at 8 AM. Therefore, there will be NO instructional classes for students in Grades 7-12 tomorrow.

It’s National School Nurses Day, so let’s show our appreciation for those caring individuals in our schools who do so much more than apply band-aids, stop bloody noses, and hand out ice packs! School nurses are critical to all aspects of students’ health, and help to ensure our students’ academic success. They also play a key role in improving public health. In other words, our school nurses are superheroes!

It's Teacher Appreciation Week and the Ellenville Central School District would like to express a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our caring and dedicated educators! We appreciate all of the amazing work that you do! 💙💛

Reminder: A solar eclipse will be visible in the afternoon on Monday, April 8. While Ellenville is not on the path of the total solar eclipse, we will experience a partial solar eclipse at a time that overlaps with the regular dismissal times for our buildings. As a result, we will have an early dismissal for students. Dismissal times will be as follows: Jr/Sr High School - 11:15 AM and Elementary School - 12:15 PM.
The District will be distributing specialized eye protection for all students to take home with them on April 8 so that under adult supervision, they can safely view the eclipse. More information about the eclipse may be found here: www.nysed.gov/curriculum-instruction/new-york-state-total-solar-eclipse-april-2024

Reminder: The ECSD will be closed from Monday, March 25, through Friday, March 29, for Spring Break. In addition, Friday, March 22, and Monday, April 1, are "give back" days and schools will be closed.
