To celebrate the completion of their “Build Your Brand” career exploration class, students took a trip to the Barclays Center on January 25 to see the Brooklyn Nets play the Minnesota Timberwolves! The class was led by Ashley Knox of Go Beyond Greatness, an educational consulting firm that offers college and career readiness programs. Afterwards, the students even participated in a Zoom meeting with management personnel!
Unfortunately, the Nets lost their game, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the students, many of whom had explored career options in sports and athletics during their time in Ms. Knox’s class. Many wanted to know, “When can we do this again?”
