Teachers posing with student

Ellenville students, faculty, and staff were feeling the love on February 9, as they celebrated “P.S. I Love You Day” by wearing purple to symbolize and foster kindness, create a welcoming environment, and raise awareness for mental health.

Held every year on the second Friday in February, P.S. I Love You Day is an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and to decrease bullying. The blue–or should we say purple—Devils did not disappoint. Donning purple clothes, purple shoes, purple HAIR, and other fun purple accessories, they showed their support of embracing differences and being kind to themselves and others. The High School even had a beautiful purple balloon display to welcome everyone as they entered.

What a great day for Ellenville Pride!
