Students at Ellenville Elementary School celebrated the simple joys of reading a good book on March 1, in honor of Read Across America Day, a nationwide event sponsored by the National Education Association. To help students mark the occasion was a fabulous lineup of guest readers—including many Ellenville faculty and staff members, administrators, and retired teachers; Board of Education members; and our very own Student Resource Officer Felicia Torres—who all shared their favorite books with them. What a great way to promote a love of reading!
