Dear Staff and Parents/Guardians:
This morning, the District was notified of a school bus incident on Geiger Road involving a bus that experienced a mechanical failure resulting in two wheels detaching from the vehicle. One student, a bus monitor and the driver were on board. We are relieved to report that no injuries occurred and no other vehicles were involved.
District officials, emergency responders, and representatives from Rolling V, the bus company contracted for all of our student transportation, responded immediately to the scene. The District has requested a comprehensive investigation, including review by the Department of Transportation.
