Ellenville Elementary School (EES) welcomed hundreds of students and their families on September 1 for its annual Back to School Open House, giving students an opportunity to reconnect with their school community and get ready for the year ahead.
Throughout the evening, the school’s hallways and classrooms were bustling with excitement as students met their teachers, explored their new learning spaces, and became familiar with the school before the first day of classes.
In the cafeteria, families had the opportunity to connect with special area teachers, student support staff, related service providers, and representatives from community organizations and resources. Students also enjoyed ice pops and picked up a variety of reading and learning resources to help them start the new school year strong.
Thank you to all of the families, staff members, and community partners who helped make the evening such a success. EES is looking forward to welcoming students back for their first day of classes on September 8 and kicking off another wonderful year of learning and growth!
