The Ellenville Central School District will be celebrating Bully Prevention Week next week! Students in PreK-Grade 12, as well as teachers, administrators, and staff) are encouraged to participate in the following theme days:
Monday, Oct. 2: Wear blue to celebrate World Day of Bullying Prevention.
Tuesday, Oct. 3: Wear camouflage to be a hero and stand up to bullies.
Wednesday, Oct. 4: Wear your favorite team jersey or shirt to be a team player and stand up to bullies.
Thursday, Oct. 5: Wear a hat to put a lid on bullying.
Friday, Oct. 6: Wear Ellenville gear or blue/gold to show your school pride and unite against bullying!


The Ellenville Central School District is currently hiring for the following positions:
Registered Nurse, Registered Nurse substitutes, and 1:1 Tutor (Three hours per day between the hours of 9 AM and 1 PM in the student’s home. Applicants must have Special Education certification.)

Book lovers at Ellenville Elementary School enjoyed the extensive selection at the Scholastic Book Fair that was held from September 19-21. From puppies and kittens to wrestling and meteoric rocks, all of our youngest Blue Devils found story topics that intrigued them. Happy reading, everyone!




The Ellenville Central School District will be closed on Monday, September 25 in honor of Yom Kippur.

Reminder! Parents/guardians of Ellenville Elementary School students in Grades 1-6 are invited to attend an Open House TONIGHT, September 19, from 5-7 PM.


Ellenville School District will be featuring fresh, local watermelon-mint juice on the lunch menu this Friday, September 21! The watermelons and mint are grown at Great Joy Family Farm, just 12 miles away in Pine Bush. Enjoy this delicious treat on Friday, and check out Great Joy’s farm stand at 386 Rt 302, Pine Bush.


We will be kicking off farm-to-school this year with a scratch-made cheeseburger soup prepared with locally sourced beef! The beef is locally-sourced right here in Ulster County from Veritas Farms in New Paltz. This creative soup will be on the menu in the cafeteria this Friday, September 15! Stay tuned for more yummy local foods on the menu this year.

Don't miss Ellenville Elementary School's PreKindergarten and Kindergarten Open House tonight, from 4-6 PM. Students and their parents/guardians are invited to come meet their teachers, visit the cafeteria, pick up their Chromebooks, and take a bus ride. An optional information session will also take place where all of your questions will be answered. We can't wait to meet our youngest Blue Devils!
