The Ellenville Central School District will be closed on Thursday, June 19 in honor of Juneteenth. We join the nation in commemorating the end of slavery in the United States and celebrating freedom, resilience, and reflection.

The New York State governor has mandated that schools implement a bell-to-bell ban on cell phones and smart devices, effective by the start of the 2025-2026 school year. Under this policy, students will not be permitted to use cell phones or smart devices during instructional time—including lunch on campus, study hall (academic workshops), class transitions, and bathroom visits. We value your feedback as a key stakeholder in our school community. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey: https://bit.ly/406XQDx

From monitoring medications to offering a calm presence during health emergencies, our nurses transform our schools into safer, healthier environments for everyone.
Beyond responding to immediate needs, they serve as health educators and advocates, empowering our students with knowledge that extends well beyond the school walls.

At Ellenville Central School District, we strongly feel that every week is Teacher Appreciation Week, but we'd be remiss not to recognize the official one (May 5-9)!
We are grateful to our dedicated teachers for the commitment and creativity you bring to our classrooms. Whether it's the extra time you spend helping a struggling student, the innovative lessons that spark curiosity, or the compassion you show in difficult moments, you go the extra mile to make Ellenville a compassionate place for learning.
Thank you for everything you do to educate, support, and empower our students. You are the heart of our District!
We encourage our students and school community to share with your teacher what you appreciate about them. A thank you and smile can go a long way!
