The Ellenville Senior High School Music Department traveled to Massachusetts on May 15 to participate in the annual Music in the Parks Festival. The Festival Choir and Symphonic Band both earned Superior ratings. It was a day enjoyed by all. Bravo on a great performance!
Great news! Ellenville’s Hadley Walsh has qualified for the New York State Girls Golf Championships!
Hadley shot an 89 on May 26 for a two-day total of 183, moving her into 8th place overall. Eighth place secured her spot as one of nine golfers representing Section IX at the New York State Championships at Wild Wood Country Club in Rush, New York.

There will be a special meeting of the Board of Education on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., in the Superintendent’s Office, 28 Maple Avenue, Ellenville, NY 12428. It is anticipated that a motion for an executive session may be introduced at the start of the open meeting for the purpose of discussing a confidential student matter. No public discussions will be held and the matter will be closed at the end of executive session.
Ellenville Central School District parents and guardians should be advised that there has been a change to our school calendar. Wednesday, March 18, will now be a full-day Superintendent’s Conference Day. There will be no school for students on this day. Should you have any questions, please contact the main office of your child’s school. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Due to scheduling issues, the PTO meeting scheduled for this evening (January 21) has been canceled. The group will meet again in February to discuss fundraisers. You can join them on February 12 for their Stuff a Stuffy event. Flyers were sent home in students’ backpacks.

Reminder: Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, November 20, and Friday, November 21. As a result, Ellenville Elementary School students will be dismissed at 12:15 PM on both days. Ellenville Jr/Sr High School students will be dismissed at 11:15 AM on Friday only.
Families of K-12 students are invited to attend a special performance by the indie-pop band Attaboy on Monday, November 17, at 7 PM, at Ellenville Junior/Senior High School.
Attaboy is known for their upbeat school assemblies that combine high-energy performances with positive messages about mental health, bullying, and perseverance.
Students in Grades 7-12 will also experience Attaboy during a special in-school assembly on November 17.

The Ellenville Noonday Club will be hosting its 48th annual Senior Citizen Holiday Turkey Dinner on Sunday, November 16, at 1 PM in the Ellenville Junior/Senior High School cafeteria. Senior citizens are invited to come enjoy a free turkey dinner and live entertainment in celebration of the season! Seating is limited to the first 100 attendees, so reservations are encouraged. Call (845) 647-8170 by November 12 to reserve your spot. Please note: There will be no home delivery.
