Today, the Ellenville Central School District joins communities across our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the memory of those who were taken from us and express our deepest gratitude to the courageous first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who risked their lives to help others.

Ellenville families and community members are invited to take advantage of an upcoming community resource event hosted by ACCESS: Supports for Living.

The ACCESS Mobile Grocery unit will be at Ellenville Regional Hospital on Monday, September 14, from 1-4 PM, offering free food and connecting community members with local health and social support services.

The Mobile Grocery will offer free shelf-stable, fresh, and refrigerated food items. ACCESS team members will also be available to connect individuals and families with resources related to medical care, mental health and substance use services, housing, transportation, education, employment, and more.

Individuals with active Medicaid can also complete a Hudson Valley Social Care Network screening to explore additional support services that may be available to them.

The Ellenville PTO is a nonprofit run by a volunteer team of parents and family members, school staff, and community members. Together, they provide programs, resources, and fundraisers that enhance the student experience and support our educators and staff.

Interested in learning more or getting involved? Join them for their Welcome Back Meeting on Wednesday, September 16, at 6:15 PM in the Elementary School cafeteria. Childcare will be available!

Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:15 PM. Come connect with other families, stay informed, and help make a positive impact for our students and schools. They hope to see you there!

The new school year is officially underway, and we wanted to remind families that there may be some bus delays today and throughout the first week of school.

We appreciate your patience as students get familiar with their buses, our drivers settle into their routes, and we work to ensure that all students arrive safely at their destinations!

Please be aware that Leipold Field, which was in use for a Varsity Girls Soccer game and Varsity Boys Soccer practice, had to be cleared to allow emergency personnel to respond to a medical emergency in the community. The emergency was unrelated to the game, and none of our Ellenville students were involved.

Attention, Ellenville Central School District community: The Board of Education meeting scheduled for tonight, September 8, has been canceled. The Public Hearing that was set to take place tonight has been rescheduled for the next meeting on September 22.

On August 3, Ellenville band students joined teachers and community members in front of the Junior/Senior High School for our annual Summer Band Concert! Under the direction of Christina Schoonmaker and Laurie Worden, musicians of all ages came together for an evening of great music and great fun. Thank you to everyone who played, supported our musicians, and helped make this summer tradition a success!

The Ellenville Music Department is proud to present its Summer Band Concert on Monday, August 3, at 7 PM. The concert will take place outside the main entrance of Ellenville Junior/Senior High School. Bring a lawn chair and join us for a free outdoor concert featuring Ellenville band students, teachers, and community members performing patriotic favorites and popular tunes.

We're excited to announce that Modified Field Hockey will be offered for Ellenville students in Grades 7-9 during the upcoming school year!

Interested in joining the team? Registration for all modified sports opens on August 8. Whether you're new to the sport or ready to get back on the field, this is a great opportunity to build skills, make new friends, and represent Ellenville.
