The new school year will bring with it new expectations regarding smartphones at Ellenville Jr/Sr High School.
Smartphones have become a huge distraction in schools, making it harder and harder for students to focus on their work and get the most out of their school day. Studies also show a strong link between excessive smartphone use and depression, anxiety, bullying, social conflict and stress among adolescents and young adults.
We know the new protocols will take some getting used to, but limiting smartphone use will help make Ellenville an even better place to learn. Visit our website at bit.ly/472jMls to learn more.
